I Am a Doctor - A Child's View of Adoption (Hardcover)

Adoption is very fulfilling and loving for each member of the family. It is suggested that children be told at a young age that they are adopted. This way they grow up knowing that they are a loved and cherished part of the family. This book is a charming children's book inspired by my older daughter. When she was about two-and a-half years old, we told her that she was adopted. Being that she was so young, she would tell people she was "a doctor." What she meant to say was "adopted." Children who are adopted will relate to this story, and those that are not will still find the book a lot of fun.
