The third chapter tries to apply logic as a methodical tool for solving various philosophical problems.The fourth chapter is a humble attempt to see the threats to human values and environment due to the progress of modern science and technology. The last chapter highlights a special region of India, i. e. Assam. This chapter is a study of environment as a 'resource' with particular reference to Assam which is one of the richest biodiversity hotspot areas of India.'Man-environment interaction' in Assam regarding the mentioned areas faces different hazards and possible solutions can be intended to think out.
