Le Romain, was taken down by Walt. Skirlawe 1380. Archbishop Romaine begun the nave, which was completed by archbishop Melton with the facade. The ailes surround the whole church in every part, and are of the same dimensions in each, and built at the same time. The whole fabrick was one hundred and sixty-one years in building.
