Ac--The coils shall have been immersed in water at 7o F.. for a period of not less than twenty-four hours, previous to being tested by the representative of the Company. The whole to be approved by the Company's representa-tive before delivery. Inspection, --The Company's representative to be allowed to inspect the wire during the various stages of manufacture. Specification For Galvanized Tubular Iron Poles. The poles to be of two sizes only, with an inside diameter of 2j ins. and 3 ins. respectively; the number and various lengths of each according to the Company's requirements; and the whole consignment to be delivered free to the Company's Storea. The iron to be of good quality, free from scale and blisters, and capable of resisting a tensile strain of 20 tons per square inch of Beotioo. The tubes to be of a uniform thickness of i in. through-out their length, weighing not less than l"l lbs. per foot run in the case of those with an inside diameter of 2$ ins. and 8-85 lbs. per foot run in the case of those with an inside diameter of 8g ins. Each length to be straight and true longitudinally, and of true circular form throughout, properly and securely welded up.
