Abandoned by his mother,11 year old Zyere must fend for himself in LA's notorious Bottoms-a shanty town of cardboard boxes, tarps and tents. From then on Zyere finds himself interacting with a number of individuals including, gamblers, alcoholics, drug addicts, pimps, prostitutes and former child TV stars, all doing what they must do to survive the Bottoms. Relying on his instinct for survival, Zyere is constantly challenged with making decisions that have far reaching consequences.
