Catholic Public School Lay Leadership in Ghana - Its Challenges and Prospects (Paperback)

The new emerging lay leaders are now occupying a number of significant positions in the Church and playing various roles that were exclusively exercised by clergy and members of religious orders. One of the critical challenges that these lay leaders face is that most of them are taking up positions and playing roles that they are not necessarily trained to occupy or play. Using qualitative methodology this book investigates the challenges of Catholic Public School Lay leaders in Ghana and provides practical recommendations as to how to address these challenges so that the Catholic school lay leaders can actively participate in the evangelizzing mission of the Church.
