Hatfield and Jones Family Story (Paperback)

Arrena Hatfield is my g, g, grandmother who married John Jones. DNA shows that George Goff Hatfield born 1715, is related to Arrena through his son Joseph and then Joseph's son Jeremiah Hatfield Sr. whose son William Carroll Hatfield is the father of Arrena. Through ancestry.com I have traced my line of Hatfield's back to Matthias Hatfield Sr. born August 25, 1640 in Danzig Stadt, West Preussen, and died December 13, 1687 in Elizabethtown, Essex, New Jersey. He married Mariken Melyn, born March 29, 1637 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands and died in Elizabethtown, Essex, New Jersey in1699. DNA didn't really prove this but I left it in the book for those who are following that line. I have traced my line of Jones back to John McSoein (changed it to Jones), born 1770 in Belfast, North Ireland. His son, William Jones, married Sylvania Weiss, whose grandfather was born 1705 in Mulhausen, Germany. With all of the diverse locations in each of their backgrounds, my Hatfield and Jones ancestors from those four different countries sailed cross the Atlantic Ocean to begin a new life in the eastern colonies of America. Later they settled in the Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee area. Finally, they migrated in wagon trains, rode on horses, and walked by foot to arrive in the middle of America. There they came to rest in the southwest corner of the Show Me State of Missouri
