Only Tomorrow Will Tell (Electronic book text)

Synopsis:
At the sudden death of Nosa, his younger and enigmatic sibling Efosa takes over his late brother's thriving agricultural business. Within a short time he becomes quite wealthy. His looks combined with his money make him every woman's ideal husband.
Endurance, his late brother's wife, feels she has the best chance to become his wife. After all, Efosa should follow the tradition of not only inheriting his late brother's business, but also his widow and children.
But Efosa is not inclined to follow that path. The very thought of making his late brother's wife his own repulses him.
The saying that "hell knows no fury like a woman scorned" comes true, as Endurance resorts to using her feminine wiles and deceits to make Efosa her own or punish him if he resists.
Efosa's heart is set on the beautiful but inexperienced Oneki. Theirs is a happy marriage.
Five years later, however, there is no baby in their home and Oneki becomes depressed. Meanwhile, a scorned Endurance schemes and manipulates. Oneki's world, which was already tumbling, collapses when Efosa secretly marries Caroline and brings her home. "Nothing has changed my love," he assures Oneki.
Oneki runs away, leaving Efosa and his wealth behind. But she leaves with something powerful enough to give her some happiness. Efosa is a sad man because his new wife also cannot give him the child he so desires. Why? And what has become of Oneki? Only Tomorrow Will Tell
