Been hearing a lot of rave and review about them, a coworker owned a pair, and yes they live up to the hype. I got my set recently and the quality difference to what I had is so dramatic! -light -comfy -awesome braided cable -swapable pads (velvet or pleather, I think you can buy replacements as well) -USB has some audio boost capability (also on demand 7.1 which is not much to write home about I found) Cons: -Bag feels too small, so fit the headband in first. -the rubber microphone plug is not attached in any way, so KEEP TRACK OF IT. I will try attach it with a small string to the audio cable so it won't get misplaced. -the foam under the headband feels like it will collapse after 2 years, just keep note of that. Final: I'm glad I treated myself to these, only regret is the price difference to getting the grey/black vs red/black stock.

Really amazing headset and great packaging. If it comes out damaged then that will be very surprising. Amazing 7.1 surround sound.Don't expect to hear anyone when you start playing because you in your own world . Really comfortable and having to padding's is fun because you can have a different feel every week.Mic is clear and sound quality is much more clearer than my last headsets.

Pros -Great sound quality -Luxurious finish -Thoughtful extras Cons -Headphone cord doesnt detach -Flimsy carry case The leatherette memory foam cushions are soft and luxurious but they can be replaced with velour models as well, while extras such as the carry case and airline adaptor are thoughtful and worthwhile, and rarely found on gaming headsets at any price. Having the controls on the sound card rather than the headset is another welcome touch, while the wealth of microphone features make it excellent for multiplayer communication. This is without a doubt the best value headset on the market there simply is no rivals.
