The 192nd Military Police is a National Guard battalion assigned to the Connecticut Army National Guard. The battalion is assigned to the 85th Troop Command and is the Battalion Command for the 143rd Military Police Company (CS), 643rd Military Police Company (Guard), 928th Kennel Master, 11th and 119th Military Working Dog (MWD). The battalion's first ancestor was established 26 June 1672 in the Connecticut Militia as the Regiment of Fairfield County.
