Clarence Edward "Pug" Manders (May 5, 1913 in Milbank, South Dakota - January 13, 1985 in Des Moines, Iowa was a National Football League running back for the Brooklyn Dodgers/Tigers from 1939 through 1944. He led the NFL in rushing in 1941 and is the younger brother of Jack Manders. American football is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone. Known in the United States simply as football, it may also be referred to informally as gridiron football.
