Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of fifth in the K-2 1000 m event at Atlanta in 1996.Canoe sprint, which is referred to by the IOC as "canoe/kayak sprint," is one of the two forms of the canoeing disciplines that are featured in the Summer Olympics, the other being canoe slalom.
