High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Podbo je is a village on the right bank of the river Krka, at the foothils of the Gorjanci range in the Kr ko municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region. The parish church in the village is dedicated to The Holy Cross and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto. It is a Neo-Gothic church built in 1907. Gorjanci (Slovene) or umberak (Croatian) or Uskokengebirge or Sichelberg (German) is a range of mountains or hills between Croatia and Slovenia. The highest peak is Trdinov vrh on the border between Croatia and Slovenia, being 1,181 m (3,875 ft) tall. Near the peak, there is a 90 meter high telecommunications tower of the Radio-Television Slovenia. In 1999, a nature park (Park prirode) umberak - Samoborsko gorje was founded on the Croatian side.
