notably marimo (A. linnaei), as well as the genus Chaetomorpha

the Cladophorales are an order of green algae, specifically the
Ulvophyceae. The Ulvophyceae or Ulvophytes are class of green

Rhizoclonium and Pithophora live in fresh water and in some areas
are considered weeds.
