Robbiate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km south of Lecco. Robbiate borders the following municipalities: Calusco d'Adda, Imbersago, Merate, Paderno d'Adda, Ronco Briantino, Verderio Inferiore, Verderio Superiore, Villa d'Adda. The Province of Lecco (It. Provincia di Lecco) is a province in the Lombardy region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Lecco. On 1 January 2001 the province had a population of 311,452 on a surface of 816 km divided in 90 communes.
