Rocky Mount is an unincorporated community in western Miller County and eastern Morgan County, Missouri, and western Miller County United States. It is located on six miles southwest of Eldon near the Lake of the Ozarks. Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of July 2007, the population was 20,820. Its county seat is Versailles. Morgan County was organized in 1833 upon separation from Cooper County. It is named in honor of the Revolutionary War General Daniel Morgan. Some parts of Morgan County touch the Lake of the Ozarks.
