Salma likes to sing traditional Bengali folk songs.Salma Akhter was the youngest of all contestants in this competition. She is a regular girl next door from an average family. She was brought up in a small village in Kushtia. She generally likes to sing Fakir Lalon Shah's songs. She did not have a formal education in music. Salma has taken Lalon Shah as her inspiration. Her father is her main driving force along with her family.
