According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 124 inhabitants. Palencia is a province of northern Spain, in the northern part of the autonomous community of Castile and Leon. It is bordered by the provinces of Leon, Cantabria, Burgos, and Valladolid. Of the population of 176,125 (2002), 45% live in the capital, Palencia. There are 191 municipalities in the province, of which more than half are villages with fewer than 200 people.
