High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! XHGLX-FM (91.7 FM, "Exa FM") (sometimes identified as XGLX-FM) is a Spanish & English Top 40 (CHR) language radio station broadcasting in Tijuana. The station facilities moved to San Diego (National City) on May 2006. The first broadcast with the new format aired on May 5th, with special guest Yahir. The station was launched by Programming Director Isabel Gonzalez, who exited the company on May 2007. Radio broadcasting is an audio (sound) broadcasting service, broadcast through the air as radio waves (a form of electromagnetic radiation) from a transmitter to a receiving antenna. Stations can be linked in radio networks to broadcast common programming, either in syndication or simulcast or both. Audio broadcasting also can be done via cable FM, local wire networks, satellite and the Internet.
