Hell Hath No Fury is the story of Joanna Pelonic, a young woman
born into wealth and privilege in nineteenth-century England. The
story tells of heartache and unrivaled love. Joannaas stoic but
peaceful life becomes shrouded in murder and deception when she
becomes involved with two brothers. She falls in love with one
brother only to have him cruelly reject her. In desperation, she
falls into the arms of the other; a man who hides a dark and
sinister secret. Once married, her husband takes her from her
homeland to America and to the darkened streets of New Orleans. It
is here that she is thrust into a life of deceit and perversity
that she had not known existed. Unable to bear the terrible things
she is subjected to, she closes her eyes and sinks deep into
oblivion. This book depicts a once-in-a-lifetime love that
transcends time and adversity.
