Four beautifully illustrated miniature books in an attractive slipcase are written for children in early grades. They recount delightful episodes from the lives of four master artists. Leonardo da Vinci, Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh come to life in these stories--but the artists are not their story's main characters. Each little book tells the story of a child's pleasant encounter with one of these renowned artists. Appealing color illustrations by the author help to dramatize each story. Included among the illustrations are faithful reproductions of some of each artist's most famous works, thus introducing young readers to the artists' accomplishments.
