Revista Diaspora (S) - Edicion Facsimil (1997-2002) (Spanish, Paperback)

,
This volume presents the first facsimile edition of the magazine "Diaspora(s)" (1997-2002), one of the most relevant documents on Cuban literature of the past few decades. The revision of the country's writing tradition, the loosening of the nation's literary center, the appearance of different latitudes of thought, were some of the signs of its identity. In the beginning, the publication was barely visible. Its clandestine conception, in the manner of the Samizdat, circulated photocopies to a very limited public. Nonetheless, there was an interest in the magazine, and the group that created it, which was renewed in countries like Cuba, the United States, Brazil, and Spain, and its importance in Cuban literary history is yet to be determined. We compliment the magazine with analysis and the evaluation of the writers and critics who, in a distinctive manner, were involved in this adventure. We also include the testimonials of the authors responsible for this project, the group known as Diaspora(s).
