This is clay-based, economy cat litter but it does the job well enough. It doesn't clump but once the damp has reached the bottom, the damp "clumps" are easily removeable. It seems to work for smells as well. Because it is clay-based, it can be added to the compost to improve soil - I do this with the damp clumps (without the poop) to add extra nitrogen as well. It also seems to work well for soaking up oil spills in the garage.

Use Instructions | Pour cat litter into your tray until it reaches a minimum depth of 7cm. Inspect the litter tray every morning. Remove the dried droppings and clumped litter with an appropriate scoop. Stir the remaining litter and top up as required. Remember to maintain a minimum depth of 7cm at all times. Store bag in a dry place. |
