What happens when everything seems to be going every which way but the right way? How do you cope? How do you deal? Itas tough when youare all alone without family, friends, or anyone who seems to care. Who do you turn to when nobodyas there? It may not be easy but itas not impossible. Writing helps and keeps me sane. I write about my past not to remember but to deal and let go. As the pain of my past slips away, I gladly keep with me the lessons learned. What happened in my past is not as important as the lessons Iave learned. Itas those lessons that make me a survivor of yesterday, a stronger person today and protect me from being a victim tomorrow. I find comfort in knowing that however painful my past may be, I survived it all with strength, dignity, and newfound enlightenment.
