"Problem Solving Maths Book 2" represents a response to current trends and emphasis which is being placed on the development of problem solving skills in students. Each book is divided into sections, each focusing on a particular aspect of mathematical problem solving. In this book, a brief summary of the skill being covered is given at the beginning of each section. Within each section a number of similar activities have been provided so that skills can be introduced and consolidated. The skills learned can then be utilised by students in other problem solving situations.
