Mary Elizabeth Robinson (1775-1818) was an English poet. She was the daughter of poet and novelist Mary Robinson nee Darby (1757-1800), an actress who went on to become the mistress of George IV. Her father, Thomas Robinson, was an articled clerk who abandoned them when Mary Elizabeth was only an infant. Like her mother Robinson adopted a literary career and also edited her mother's memoirs. She is best known for her 1804 collection of poems, The Wild Wreath, which contains several previously unpublished works of her mother's.
