Understanding Issues of Power and Control - A Therapeutic Guide to Working with Adolescent Sex Offenders (Paperback)

In 1989 Mark Dittloff, M.S., began as the first family therapist at a Wisconsin-based residential treatment facility for adolescent sex offenders. For the next eight years he worked daily with all types of adolescent sex offenders, both male and female, in individual, group, and family therapy. Since that time he has continued to work with all types of sex offenders, including adult sex offenders, in outpatient therapy as well as therapeutic supervised visitation for adult sex offenders who have lost custody of their children. These offenders have given Dittloff a unique insight into the reasons behind sexual abuse, which Dittloff forwards on in his book, Understanding Issues of Power and Control: A Therapeutic Guide to Working with Adolescent Sex Offenders.
