Host and former Navy SEAL Richard Machowicz helms this second season of the FUTURE WEAPONS series. The show, which airs on the Discovery Channel, takes a close-up look at contemporary military hardware, and then examines how these weapons will be developed in the future. The results of Machowicz's endeavors include extensive features on the Electromagnetic Rail Gun, which could fire a bullet from Earth into space; a powerful attack plane named the Super Hornet; and the Cougar Vehicle, which is an incredibly resilient armored vehicle.
