All ten episodes of the American adaptation of the British thriller starring David Tennant. When the body of a young boy is discovered on a California beach, two police officers with contrasting approaches are assigned to the case. Detective Emmet Carver (Tennant) is given the lead on the case while Detective Ellie Miller (Anna Gunn) is forced to take second-in-command. While the boy's parents struggle to grieve the sudden loss of their son, every member of the community comes under scrutiny from the police as Carver and Miller put aside their differences to solve the murder.
