Magic Moon - A Young Boy's Journey (Paperback)

,
"It was said in the village that Magic Moon would grant you two requests. One request must be to find a lost treasure. The other request must be for something good, which would not hurt anyone else. Magic Moon was very particular about requests." Join a young boy on his remarkable journey as he climbs the mountain to make his request of Magic Moon and discovers true happiness through unselfishness. Magic Moon teaches the importance of keeping promises, thinking of others, and being a friend despite pressures to the contrary. It focuses on loving family relationships and mutual friendships. This story will help children develop positive character traits and improve social skills. EXCERPT: The boy set off on his journey. That night the air was crisp and cool. Looking up, he could see Magic Moon hovering right above the mountain peak, his two rings glistening. Magic Moon looked so big The boy was afraid, but he had made a promise to his sister. He would keep his promise. He could see the path up the mountain lit by the moonlight. He climbed and climbed, for what seemed like hours. His feet were aching, his legs were aching, but at last he reached the top. Summoning all his courage, he looked up. Magic Moon loomed brightly overhead. "WHAT HAVE YOU COME TO ASK ME, BOY?" boomed Magic Moon. The boy quivered, and courageously stammered, "Uh....uh....sir, if you please...uh..." "WELL, WHAT IS IT, BOY?" thundered Magic Moon. "I HAVEN'T GOT ALL NIGHT " Magic Moon chuckled at his own joke. "GOOD ONE, DON'T YOU THINK?" "Yes, very clever," responded the boy. He clasped his hands together to keep them from shaking. "What I wanted to ask, was, I know you help find lost things that are precious."
