About Marjorie's Book Just Between us Lord - As the title of this first section implies, these poems do have an intimate and prayerful tone, I hope, dear readers that you will find words here that will lead you to quiet prayer. Imagine (Picture Poems) - Imagination is a wonderful gift from God. To be able to see in the mind's eye as you read the words, bringing them to life. The more we use this lovely gift, the more we appreciate the work of God's hands. Praise - How naturally this section follows on from the previous one. These hymn-like poems are written with the hope that the words will sing in both the joyful and saddened heart. For the Little Ones - These are picture poems written for the little ones, in the hope that they might excite their lively imaginations and encourage them to draw, colour or write about them, just as they see them. A Taste of Christmas - Sometimes just a little taste of something cam make us want to repeat it again and again. These few poems are my 'Taste of Christmas' just for you. A Shy Little Star - This story is especially for our young ones. Maybe the Title 'The Shy Little Star' will encourage the shy ones to discover how even 'they' can do something wonderful. Marjorie's Snippets - I suppose that thinking aloud might be a good way to describe these varied poems. They speak of ordinary day to day happenings, but have a wee 'twist in the tail'. Maybe bringing a wry smile or nod or two. Quiet Meditations - There is deep meaning in these words, please do not rush through them, rather read slowly, just as though sucking a delightful sweet.
