He believes he has been chosen by God to do His will by hunting down serial killers. Donhar discovers that his nightmares are actually clairvoyant episodes where he aseesa serial killers go into a killing frenzy. Using a state-of-the-art computer, Donhar painstakingly locates the killers. Forced to live a secret life, Donhar often wonders if what he is doing is the will of God, or if he is deluded into that belief because of his desperate need for justification. Almost by accident the FBI discovers the existence of a serial murderer who kills only other serial killers. They are at a loss to explain how one serial killer can find other serial killers in an area encompassing the entire country. Using their own computers they start a nation-wide hunt for the man they have dubbed the serial-serial.
