Collection of programmes about rock 'n' roll star Elvis Presley, featuring performance footage. 'The True Story of Elvis Presley' is a biographical documentary detailing the life and work of Elvis. The film discusses his journey to success in the music business, his time spent serving in the army, the trouble in his private life, his comeback to music in 1968 and, finally, his untimely demise in 1977. Rare clips of live performances are included, and 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Stuck On You', 'Hound Dog' and 'All Shook Up' are among the featured songs. 'The Milton Berle Show Special', filmed in 1956, features performances of 'Shake Rattle and Roll', 'Heartbreak Hotel' and 'Blue Suede Shoes', and sees Elvis star in a comedy skit with Berle. 'The Frank Sinatra Show - Welcome Home Elvis Special' sees Elvis appear as a main guest, performing alongside Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Nancy Sinatra.
