In his quest to attain Western education Ndu is enticed into selling illicit drug in the streets of Kano by his former school teacher, T.N. Makan, A.K.A. Sarko. But when Ndu's colleague, Pali is arrested, Ndu and Sarko escape to Bamako, Mali on their way to Europe through the death-trap Sahara desert. Do they make it? These and more are what transpired in this collection of eight engaging short stories.
