Linke is opening a fine new store at the southeast corner of Sheffield and Oakdale avenues. A new drug store will be opened in the rooms formerly occupied by the J. P. Lee Drug Co.. at the northeast corner of Harrison and Halsted streets. Mr. Snyder has purchased the Ravenswood Drug Co.'s store from Dr. Arthur. It was a cash deal and pulled off in thirty minutes. Mr. Sheblessy is thoroughly remodeling his pharmacy at Thirty-fifth street and Indiana avenue with modern and handsome fixtures and show cases. William Ohlendorf, aged 85, and the father of II. L. Ohlendorf at:: -62 Evanston avenue, died last week. The recent election in the Chicago medical Society, the largest city organization in the A. M. A., was a clean-sweep victory lor the progressive element, and a declaration against multiple representation and in favor of the progressive policies of the Branch Workers' ticket, 934 to 473. The new president is A. H. Ferguson. Secretary G. F. Sukcr. progressive, was reelected. The annual boat excursion of the C. R. D. A. will take place on Thursday, July 21, on the beautiful steamer 'City of South Haven." to Michigan's most popular summer resort, South Haven. The boat has a capacity of 5,000 and a full five hours will be spent on shore in sight-seeing, fishing, boating, bathing, auto rides, and many other forms of amusement. Round trip tickets are $1.00. Chas. H. Avery was called by telegraphic advices from Cincinnati to Oklahoma to adjust a fire los for the American Druggists' Fire Insurance Co., of which he is president and Illinois state agent, while in attendance at the T.
