Made-for-TV festive drama starring Neil Patrick Harris as a hard-nosed Wall Street trader who unexpectedly discovers the Christmas spirit. Even though it is the death of his grandfather that brings him back to his home town, Will Martin (Harris) still sees an opportunity to do business by sorting out the real estate business he will inherit. However, when he and his grandmother, Ruth (Debbie Reynolds), discover his grandfather's diary, it sets in motion a journey of discovery that may well make Will reconsider his attitude to life.
