Time Out Book of Country Walks (Paperback)

The Time Out Book of Country Walks contains an appropriate walk for every week of the year, many of them published for the first time and all within easy reach of London.

The walks feature:

* glorious countryside, with historic sites and fine views
* maps and detailed instructions to keep you on the right path
* the best pubs for lunch and places for tea or a drink afterwards

The walks are in deep countryside, through woods and along streams, avoiding tarmac roads wherever possible. They all start and end at a railway station, about an hour’s journey from London. They are between seven and thirteen miles long - with suggested ways of shortening them - and are graded for toughness.
