Synopsis:
The touching story Suzie and the Lovely Windows is about an elementary school student who loves to paint. One day Suzie becomes very ill and needs to stay home. The doctor tells her she has pneumonia, but she doesn't have to go to a hospital.
Suzie's mom and dad take very good care of her, but she is sad because she is missing all her friends and the Christmas activities at school. As she gets better, she has an idea. Suzie paints Christmas designs on the windows of her house. Her friends come to visit her and are amazed at her beautiful artwork. They ask her to paint the windows at their homes.

A retired music teacher, Nicki D. Casterline also writes and records gospel music with her husband. She lives in Sanford, Florida, and is working on another book about Suzie.
