Yakubu Abubakar Akilu (born March 14, 1989 in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State) is a Nigerian professional footballer, who currently plays for FC Fredericia. A paced young midfielder who scored many goals for F.C. Ebedei, he was the ninth player who moved from the club to FC Midtjylland. He played the 2009/2010 season for FC Hj rring, on loan from the Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland. On 22 December 2010 the young Nigerian forward left Kolding FC and signed for FC Fredericia.
