Brent Leonard Severyn (born February 22, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey Defenseman who played in the National Hockey League. Severyn was drafted 99th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft and played for the Quebec Nordiques, Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, Colorado Avalanche, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and the Dallas Stars. Severyn's primary role with each of his teams was to be an enforcer.
