Road Safety Performance - National Peer Review - Lithuania (Electronic book text)

This peer review examines road safety performance and policy measures in Lithuania, carried out by experts from Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and the European Conference of Ministers of Transport Secretariat. The peer review process is used extensively within the OECD and its affiliated organisations, always originating at the request of the country being reviewed. Topics discussed include: the road network in Lithuania and trends in the road safety sector, the regulatory and legislative framework, vehicle inspection, drivers' training, problems in the organisational structure, recommendations for strategic and specific policy actions to be implemented.
