This is an environmental resource for teachers and parents of
learners in the middle years of childhood (9-14 years). It
represents an attempt to encourage earth-caring attitudes which
lead to environmental action. The material contains a range of
graded, participatory activities that promote environmental action
and extension ideas to expand the usefulness of each basic
activity. It also offers creative activities such as: art,
dramatisation, story-telling and poetry. Exciting adventure
exercises have been included, that will help learners interact with
each other and with the world around them as well as activities
that will stimulate the growth of green hearts and green minds.
