About the Author Patrick Walloch has been writing poems for many years. The first one was written in 1967 for a girl friend (Ode to You My Love). Pat has been involved during his life with many organizations which have shaped his mind and his writing. The one with the most influence he would say was the years he spent traveling with the musical show UP With People. This book started out as a hobby, a way of exercising the other side of his brain. Most of his day is spent helping people plan their future retirement. Pat has had some of his poems published as individual works. The poem "It's Their World" won first place in a local poetry contest. He lives in Lake Forest, California, with his wife Barbara. His 4 children are grown and out working in their own professions.
