This fan does not emit a mist as advertised. The bottom unit is an ultrasonic vaporiser which produces a small amount of water vapour which is fed to the fan. Not very effective at all.

Bought this product, quality not very good. Worked for just over 2 months, returned it a month ago and still no resolution. Stay away.
