Please Note the following important information when using this shredder:
- This Shredder shreds 80gsm paper only.
- This Shredder’s paper hopper holds a maximum of 300 sheets (80gsm) paper only, over loading will damage the shredder.
- Over Loading will place undue load on the gear and may result in a malfunction and warranty may be void because of this.
- This Shredder has a duty cycle of 16 minutes on and 30 minutes off, for the provision of a cool down period. This is a protection mechanism to ensure efficient use and to prevent the shredder from over-heating and mal-functioning.
- Do not put oil directly onto the rubber rollers (use Rexel Shredder Oil Sheets to lubricate the cutters)
Rexel Auto+ 300X cannot shred the following:
- Heavy Duty Staples
- A Document more than 25 sheets held together by a staple or clip
- Bound documents
- Bulldog clips
- Large paper clips
- Magazines or other documents bound by multiple staples or clips
- Unopened Mail (open mail & place in auto-feed or feed through the manual feeding slot)
- Plastic sheets
- Adhesive labels
- Crumpled paper
