UK icon Twiggy has spent her life in the public eye, but her voice and music have often been overlooked. Throughout the 70s and 80s she was equally at home on the stage and in the studio, starred on Broadway in My One & Only (1983), winning a Golden Globe for her performance in the film musical The Boy Friend (1971) and notching up two UK Top 40 albums (Twiggy and Please Get My Name Right). The album also includes a guest vocal appearance by Twiggys daughter Carly Lawson on Neil Youngs Only Love Can Break Your Heart, a guitar solo by Bryan Adams on his track 'Heaven', and a version of Richard Marxs Right Here Waiting featuring duet vocals with the American superstar himself.
