For the last fifteen years he has been involved in developing
computer-based learning in electronics and other subjects. As a
result of these investigations, he facilitated the successful
introduction of a full curriculum for first-year electronics
technicians built around Electronics Workbench. Richard Parker and
his colleagues have found that this new mode of learning encourages
students have much more to learn but the learning time available
has not increased.
