Excerpt: ... CHILD OF UANIEL R. CLYMER, 96.] 123. ANNIE M. C. (CLYMER) BROOKE.--Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, June 24, 1849, and married, June 22, 1868, to Edward Brooke, iron-master, of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. Their issue: -- i. Annie Clymer, b. March 28, 1870. ii. Rorert Edward, b. July 7, 1872. iii. George Clymer, b. June 5, 1875. CONCLUSION. Our family lies scattered over fifteen States, and one member lives abroad, in Central America. It is believed that the above genealogy is Complete down to the time of publication; containing a record of every descendant of the Cunyngham and Roberdeau families in this country. The only omissions possible, (and none are known of, ) being infants in some of the earlier generations, either born dead or who died soon after birth; particular inquiry having been made for the names of all children. Contrary to the usual labors of genealogists, all of the older members of the family were in this case known, requiring the search to be downward for the later generations, in which the writer has been aided very materially by three members of the family; Mrs. Dr. Wheat, and a gentleman, whose name, at his desire, is withheld, to whom the whole of one branch of the family .seems to have been known; and also to Edward M. Clymer, Esq., for the other branch. Nor must the writer omit to mention the great assistance he has received from the voluminous manuscripts left by his grandfather, Colonel Isaac Roberdeau; consisting of letters, copies, official papers, and above all, including Robert Cunyngham's manuscript, which the Colonel had continued down to his own family, thus helping us over that most difficult step to American Genealogists--tracing the connection between their progenitor and parent family abroad.
