Excerpt: ... 319 No. V. FORM OF PROCESS, To be observed in the Skeriff-Cotart qf Perthshire, in Civil Cases. PART t. OF ORDINARY CIVIL ACTIONS. Chap. 1.-0/ the Diets of the Courts. 1. The Court shall sit for the despatch of business every Wednesday and Friday, from the 15th day of May to the 8th day of August, for the summer session; and from the 15th day of October to the 10th day of April, for the winter session, except during the Christmas recess. No new action is to be called during' the last two courtdays in each session. During the vacation, summary questions will continue to be discussed as in time of session. 2. For the purpose of calling actions of removing, the court will meet on the 4th day of April, yearly, unless it shall fall to be on a Sunday, in which case the court will meet on the 3d day of April. Chap. II.--Of the formality of the Summons 1. All defenders in actions before the sheriff-court Shall be cited upon a summons, signed by the clerk;, fully libel led, and having the name of the pursuer's procurator marked on the back. It shall bear a partibus for calling, with a note of the expenses incurred; and the sums concluded for shall be marked in figures on the margin. The conclusion of the summons shall specify every particular for which decree is craved; the true date of signing shall be filled up by the clerk; and the clerk is discharged from calling any summons that is pot fully libelled, marked, and signed as directed. 2. Not more than six defenders on separate grounds of action shall be called in one libel, except in actions of multiplepoinding, maills and duties, poindings of the ground, and forthcomings. 3.
