A Call To Revival - Believers Back on Track (Paperback)

,
A Call to Revival, first recognizes that something is wrong. It recognizes that people have destroyed their connection with God and have distorted the way they see themselves and each other. Where would we be if we had no beliefs? Or, what kind of people could look at the needs of the world and not try and meet them? As you advance in this book, you will notice that it is written as though the reader were taking steps in their spiritual advancement. The authors have broken the spiritual walk up into seven steps; these take the reader from Salvation to Walking in the Spirit. Each step is further broken up into three topics that outline the subject. They envision this as the natural spiritual growth, which they see in scripture. After hearing the gospel, the spiritual journey begins when one accepts Jesus as savior and submits to Him. It is His desire that people grow in Him and take on His character, developing the fruit of the Spirit. It should also be noted, that this book is written by two preachers of God's word. The audience they write for is for the church community. They are not writing a formal treatise or scholarly monograph on Christian discipleship. They are writing to those that they would preach to on Sunday mornings or those that would sit under their teaching. Those that read this book will be considering its content long after it is closed. The authors desire that as the reader grows in knowledge, he/she would continue to study the Word of God and apply it directly to their life. The information in this book is designed to fit all believers who trust and believe in Jesus Christ. This book is a call to true revival; a call for people to help get Jesus' Church back on track. As you read, may you recognize that you are on a spiritual journey, and may you desire to advance along the road, taking the next step, moving closer to Jesus.
